Media Biography
Paul Loftus has appeared on CBC TV’s network current affairs program “Take 30”, and Montreal news program “Newswatch”; CFCF TV’s talk show “Montreal AM Live”; ZBM Television in Bermuda; and CBC’s radio programs “Daybreak” and “Home Run” in Montreal; and the “Noon Programme” in Thunder Bay. He has also been interviewed on CJAD Radio, Montreal. He has been interviewed by The Globe and Mail, The Gazette (Montreal), The Montreal Downtowner, Reader’s Digest, Chatelaine and Verve Magazine in Canada; The Sunday Telegraph and Executive PA London, England; The Royal Gazette and The Mid-Ocean News, Bermuda; Canada Hong Kong Business, Hong Kong; Berita Harian and The Star, Malaysia and Bisnis Indonesia, Indonesia. He has also appeared on CBC TV’s talk show “Geraldine”, and has co-hosted a community program in Montreal on CFCF Cable, Videotron and CJNT Channel 64 (Cable 14). He has been interviewed in French on Quatre Saisons in Montreal and by TV 3, France.
Paul is the co-author of “Time Well Spent: Getting things done through effective time management”. He has had articles published in The Canadian Banker, published by the Canadian Bankers Association, Linking for Learning published by the Quebec Association for Adult Learning. The International Management Development Review, published by Management Centre Europe; Today’s Manager, published by the Singapore Institute of Management; Management, published by the Malaysian Institute of Management; and Industrial and Commercial Training, published by MCB University Press (UK). He is a former cover story writer for the quarterly business magazine Executive PA, published by Harmsworth Connect (UK) and a former feature writer for Bermudian Business. He is a member of the editorial advisory board for Industrial and Commercial Training. He has done special television reporting for the CBC and CFCF Cable in Montreal and Roger’s Cable in Toronto. Paul is also a well-known speaker and has had speaking engagements in Canada, the USA, the UK, Germany, Argentina, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, India and Ireland. He conducts his own seminar on Successful Media Interviews in which he shares many of his experiences as both a media interviewer and a media interviewee. He is Vice President of the Montreal Press Club and a member of the Quebec Writers’ Federation. He holds a Certificate in Journalism from Concordia University in Montreal and is completing a Certificate in Public Relations at the same university.
